It was formally established in April 2014 by a consortium often (10) partnering universities led by the University of Lagos.APPROVED: JUPEB is approved by the Federal Government has a platform for securing admission into higher institution in the country and abroad.JUPEB is Guaranteed: Every year, more than 30,000 applicants put in for JUPEB programme in which not less than 70% of candidates secure admission into 200 level to their preferred institution and courses.HOW JUPEB WORKSInterested JUPEB candidates are expected to select any three (3) subjects that are related to their choice of study in the university. Candidates would then be lectured on the three subjects for a period of 9months. After the 9months candidates would then sit for an exam and would be awarded points.The points given are: A=5 points, B=4 points, C=3 points, D=2 points, E=1 point, F=0 point.JUPEB PROGRAMME DURATION: The programme runs for a maximum period of one academic session (10month).
